Good food very busy all the time

Brought the steak & onions and it was delicious. Meat was seasoned and very tender. I'll be back. 😎😎😎

This place is somthing to brag about(no wander Tony came here) the selection of plates and variaties of stews and meats is which you can arrange your plate is unbelievable, there was so much food it was overwhelming, just rice there was yellow rice, white rice, rice with beans, and red rice, its hella cheap, and good you will not be disappointed, this is what you would call home cooked food !!!!!! Of Parts Unknown fame - right outside of Fordham Station. Got the Dominican Pork - make sure to add lime and hot sauce, it's intensely deep fried so a little on the dry side. Overall food was okay, juices are really good and you can never go wrong w/ fried plantainsI accidentally ordered a family portion (or what seemed like it) make sure you get a combo for one. It's a fun spot to check out although I suspect Anthony Bourdain's visit didn't include a cockroach skuttling along the bar

I have always love their food!! But the only thing is they need to expand their seating arrangement. Never really tried their toilet their toiletsoI would not want to comment about that...

Amazing Dominican food. Wait yes were a little longer than expected, but nothing too crazy. Also felt like the juices were watered down, and that's why I'm giving it 4 stars.

- Small diner located in the Bronx, with the perfect blend of Puerto Rican culture/ food. - I had a Refresco/ Batida of Parcha (maracuya) and it was amazing!- Like most of NYC everything is fast paced and you may feel rushed orderingWould recommend!

Mangu for only $7 bucks! Cant beat that price. Large enough serving for two. Love this place. Passion fruit juice was great

Best cuchifritos in the Bronx!!! Have yet to find a place with a better Mofongo. Alcapurrias and bacalaitos like if I was in Puerto Rico. I come here every now and then for years and the quality of the food has always been excellent! I love this place!!!

I like this place I've been eating the mondongo soup there for many years but I have to admit it is a grease pit but the food is still good

Small, but still a staple in the Bronx. This style of food a dying art with the new generation and the transition to healthy food. Still a must visit if your in the Bronx for that old school Puerto Rican food.

Where do I begin? While street Parking can be an issue; the location is still perfect. It's easy to get to, they always have fresh food, which is great. I live over in Pelham Pkwy; where there are at least 3 Spanish Restaurants within walking distance of our home. However; I have no problem driving across Fordham Rd, up Fordham traffic, because I know that when I order they're not likely to tell me they don't have anymore of what I want. The Prices are STILL the most Affordable, the food portions are plenty, and you get exactly what You want to satisfy your hunger. This is The Bronx Spot for Great Customer Service, Great Authentic Spanish food, and fair Pricing, in an Economy and City that seems to have forgotten the family and the hard working class.

Great good but crackheads around everywhere so go in get your food and get out and avoid showing jewelry or cash. I wish I were joking.

188 cuchifritos has been one of my favorite spots to eat in.Located right in the middle of the Fordham shopping district.It offers a large variety of Latin American dishes.Price is affordable.Flavored waters are amazing.So if you ever have time to stop by.You have to try them!!!

This place is absolutely delicious!!! The food is cooked to perfection, they have everything you would want from a Spanish restaurant, their fresh made juices taste like heaven. All around I had a great experience and I'm very glad that I came here, I will definitely be back.

If you happened to be uptown in the Bronx then you must visit the cuchifrito spot. They have the best alcapurrias and bacalaitos in town.

Morcillas, alcapurias, y cuchifritos are always available here. This local and casual restaurant is the place to go for rice and beans, and roast pork(pernil) make it point to go to the Bronx and try some of these treats.
